Stop Looking for the Map and Look to God

One thing God has been showing me lately is this.

We spend so much time asking Him where we're going that we forget to walk with Him. We want the map. He wants the relationship.

As purpose-driven women, it's easy to believe the next answer is hidden inside another strategy, another opportunity, another connection, or another plan. We convince ourselves that once we know what's next, we'll finally have peace.

But that's not how God works.

Peace doesn't come from knowing what's next. Peace comes from knowing Who is leading.

Think about it. If God showed us every detail of our future, how much would we really need to trust Him?

Faith has never been about having all the answers. Faith has always been about following the One who does.

That's why I believe God doesn't reveal everything at once. He reveals enough for us to take the next step, then He invites us to trust Him again.

The relationship is the destination.

Everything else is part of the journey.

I've started praying differently.

Instead of asking, "Lord, what's next?"

I've started asking, "Lord, where are You leading me today?"

That one question changes everything.

It shifts my focus from trying to control the future to walking with Him in the present.

Maybe that's the invitation for you today.

Stop looking for the map.

Walk with the Guide.

Purpose isn't something you stumble across one day.

It's discovered one step of obedience at a time.

You don't have to know everything.

You just have to stay close to the One who does.

Today's invitation is simple.

Walk with God today.

Tomorrow will take care of itself.
